General educational content

The workouts, exercise demonstrations, articles and other free content on invigoratetraining.com are general educational fitness information. They are not written for you individually, and they are not medical care, diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy or rehabilitation advice.

Check with a professional first

Talk to your doctor or another qualified health professional before starting a new exercise program, especially if you:

  • have a heart condition, high blood pressure, diabetes or another health condition
  • are pregnant or recently postpartum
  • are recovering from an injury, illness or surgery
  • experience chest pain, dizziness or shortness of breath with activity
  • take medication that affects your heart rate, blood pressure or balance

A free tool such as the PAR-Q+ (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire for Everyone) can help you decide whether to get medical clearance before becoming more active.

Train within your capacity

Choose ranges, loads and variations that feel appropriate for you today, and keep technique ahead of effort. Stop right away if you feel sharp, unusual or worsening pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or unusual shortness of breath, and seek medical attention if symptoms continue. Make sure your training space is clear and that any equipment you use is in good condition.

Your responsibility

You use the free content at your own risk and are responsible for deciding whether an exercise is suitable for you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Invigorate Training and Chris Liddle are not liable for any injury, loss or damage resulting from the use of this content.

No guaranteed results

Individual results vary. Client stories and examples on this site reflect individual experiences and are not a promise of what you will achieve. Nothing on this site guarantees a specific outcome or that injury will be prevented.

Coaching and scope of practice

Chris Liddle is a fitness and strength coach. He is not a medical provider, and he does not diagnose or treat injuries or health conditions. When a concern falls outside his scope, he refers clients to the appropriate qualified professional. Coaching clients are screened before starting and sign a Training Service Agreement. That agreement, not this page, sets out the terms of personal coaching.
