Who we are

Invigorate Training is a personal training, group training and online coaching business run by coach Chris Liddle in Edmonton, Alberta. In-person sessions take place inside AIM Fitness; we do not operate the gym facility itself. This policy explains what personal information we collect through invigoratetraining.com and our coaching services, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

We handle personal information in line with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you book a consultation, apply for Hallway Club, send a message or become a client, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, goals, training experience, schedule and anything else you choose to tell us.
  • Health and readiness information. Before in-person or online coaching begins, we may ask about injuries, health conditions or other factors that affect how you can safely train. We only ask for what we need to coach you safely, and you can decline to answer anything.
  • Agreements and payments. Clients sign a training service agreement before starting. If you pay for coaching or a membership, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Website data. Like most websites, ours and the services that host it may automatically log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit.
  • Information saved on your own device. The free workout library can remember your progress using your browser’s local storage. That information stays on your device; it is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

How we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and arrange consultations
  • To assess fit, plan your programming and coach you safely
  • To schedule sessions, manage memberships and process payments
  • To send service messages about your coaching, such as session details, workouts and account updates
  • With your consent, to send occasional news, free resources or offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
  • To keep the website secure, working properly and improving over time

We only use your information for the purposes we tell you about, or for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances.

Service providers we use

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need to do their job:

  • Website, forms and client communication. Our website, forms, booking and email or text messaging run on the HighLevel (LeadConnector) platform.
  • Training agreement. Our training service agreement is completed and signed through Jotform.
  • Video. Exercise demonstration videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may collect information when you play a video, under Google’s own privacy policy.
  • Fonts. The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives standard technical information, such as your IP address, when a page loads.
  • Payments. Paid coaching and memberships are processed by a third-party payment provider.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held there may be subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How we protect and keep it

We use reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, and limit access to people who need it to deliver your coaching. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, and then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to how we use it, subject to legal and contractual limits. Withdrawing consent for some uses may mean we can no longer provide certain services. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 45 days, as PIPA requires.

If you have a concern we have not resolved, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.

Children

This website and our online services are intended for adults. Coaching for anyone under 18 requires the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
